In this session, participants will develop an understanding of neurodiversity through data, resources, and story-sharing. Participants will learn more about the neurodiversity spectrum and umbrella models and how neurodiversity shows up at work. This experience focuses on how neurodivergent people and their allies can advocate for their recognition and support.

  • What cognitive diversity means and how it relates to neurodiversity
  • Frameworks for talking safely and openly about neurodiversity, especially in asking for what we need
  • Resources and strategies to engage with and use for neurodiversity advocacy
